Managing Logs

The Reveille Admin consolelogs are used for tracing and debugging specific components and modules. All logs are written to a database, with each one in a separate table.

The Reveille Admin console provides these options:

• View System Log
• Log Management

View System Log

To display the System Log, from the Admin Console menu, click Log > View System Log. The Log Viewer: System Log window appears.

You can filter and sort the content. Using File > Save Selected As, you can save selected parts of the log to a text file.

Log Management

To display the Log Management window, from the Admin Console, click Log > Log Management.

For a log you select you can:

• Enable it.
• Include Details in the log.
• Clear Debug Log by Source.

To ensure that you are viewing the most current information, click Refresh in the Log Management toolbar.
